Ia datang kepada milik kepunyaan-Nya, tetapi orang-orang kepunyaan-Nya itu tidak menerima-Nya.

Yesus adalah pribadi yang tertolak. Dia datang dengan rencana Tuhan yang luar biasa. Kelahirannya bahkan dinubuatkan oleh malaikat dan para nabi. Namun saat Yesus datang pada saudara-saudaranya, tidak ada yang menerimaNya.

Sama seperti kita saat datang ke gereja baru. Kita kadang merasa tertolak saat tidak ada seorangpun memberi kita senyuman atau menyalami kita. Tapi karena tidak mendapat senyuman atau salam, bukan berarti mereka jahat. Hanya kita saja yang merasa tertolak.

DALIAN (Mandarin pronunciation: 大连[dalian]) is a major city and seaport in the south of Liaoning province, Northeast China. It faces Shandong to the south, the Yellow Sea to the east and the Bohai Sea to the west and south. Holding sub-provincial administrative status, Dalian is the southernmost city of Northeast China and China's northernmost warm water port. The second largest city in Liaoning province, next only to the capital (Shenyang), the city has a significant history of being used by foreign powers as a port. Today it serves as a regional financial base and an important international shipping centre and logistics hub in Northeast Asia.

RELIGION

Five religions (Taoism, Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism and Islam) are "officially approved" by the Chinese government. As of 2005, Dalian had 27 Protestant churches, 2 Catholic churches, 10 mosques, 34 Buddhist temples, and 7 Taoist temples, according to the statistics of the city government.
